The 35th ANNUAL COWPIE CLASSIC is coming this July 11th & 12th, 20 35th ANNUAL COWPIE CLASSIC: The Steamboat Springs Rugby Club is proud to present the 35th ANNUAL COWPIE CLASSIC July 11th & 12th. Pitches: Ski Town Field next to the tennis bubble on Pine Grove Road. (at the base of the ski area). Captian's meeting: Friday night at Sunpie's Bistro. Downtown on Yampa Street between 7th & 8th. Schedule: Available at the Captain's meeting. Or call Mic 970.846.0833 Saturday: First matches start at 9am and are on the hour. Last match of the day will be around 5pm. Free beer all day to all players. Saturday night: 35th annual TOGA PARTY at Sunpies. Sunday: Semis and Final followed by the Cowpie Award presentation. Still plenty of free beer. It looks like the river will be nice and high for some white water tubing back down to Sunpies. As well as a weekend of rugby Steamboat is offering many other distractions for the non ruggers. It's Rainbow weekend in the "Boat. All weekend long hot air balloons will be competing in the BALLOON RODEO. The Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo Series is on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30pm. Competition is held at the Rodeo Grounds downtown. Art in the Park at 13th St and Lincoln Ave all weekend - Steamboat's largest Arts Festival. Beethoven wil be rocking out at Strings in the Mountain.
